Lexi Hasselbach, fifth grader at Tritt Elementary School, recently won the School Health/Avant Hand Sanitizer poster contest. Last October, B4 Brands with School Health Corporation sponsored the Be Wise…Sanitize poster contest. School nurses and classroom teachers across the United States taught hand hygiene procedures to their students, including proper use of Avant Hand Sanitizer. Students could then reflect this learning in the form of a poster.
Lexi’s poster design was chosen from a pool submitted by 2,800 students from 61 different schools nationwide. Winning posters were selected in 3 categories: K-5th, 6th-8th and 9th-12th grades. Lexi and the other winning students received $25 VISA gift cards and their schools each received $500 in Avant Hand Sanitizer.
