Kennesaw Mountain Drama Students Receive Contest Check

Kennesaw Mountain High School’s Musical Theatre students received a check for $2,500 from Natalie Barrow, director for arts education & community outreach for ArtsBridge Foundation at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, after they placed second in the Georgia Lottery’s “Song of Hope”  music video contest.

The winners were announced at the end of the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards – Shuler Awards which aired on WSB’s Channel 2 on August 22.  Pictured from left to right:  Alex Martin, Taylor Keller, Jeremy Peterson, Emma King, Natalie Barrow, KMHS theatre director Coy Dunn, Brie Wolfe, Jacob Bush, Landon Ebuna, and Nathan McFarland.
