CCSD Honors Longtime Transportation Director Carroll Pitts With Building Dedication

The District honored the work and service of retired Director of Transportation Carroll Pitts May 5 by dedicating the CCSD Transportation Center to him. A member of the National Association of Pupil Transportation (NAPT) Hall of Fame, Pitts retired from the District in December 2007 after more than two decades of service and is currently working with his wife Becky in missionary work. The dedication ceremony was attended by a variety of guests, including Mr. Pitts’ family, State Director of Pupil Transportation Carlton Allen and many CCSD officials.
