Brumby Elementary Staff Help Pack 5,725 Meals for Food Bank

The Brumby Elementary team helped pack 8,615 pounds of food at the Atlanta Community Food Bank May 18. Brumby Elementary staff helped pack meals for the at the Atlanta Community Food Bank on May 18. The school group helped pack 8,615 pounds of food, which translates to 5,725 meals for people in need.

“One of the best parts of this organization is the video they show during our time. Families and individuals who have been supported by the food bank explain how the food bank has helped not only to keep their families fed, but given them the hope and encouragement they needed to persevere through challenges in their lives,” said Josh McGee, teacher at Brumby Elementary.
