Sope Creek Elementary principal received a $10,000 donation from Kaiser Permanente early last month that will fund a fitness walking trail. The trail will promote exercise and well-being to Sope Creek’s students, staff and community! The presentation was made at the grand opening of a new Kaiser Permanente medical office close to the school, attended by members of the Georgia legislature and other local dignitaries.
“We are honored to receive this generous grant from Kaiser Permanente to expand our fitness track and add exercise stations,” said Ms. Whalen. “This will provide our 1,100 students, as well as the Sope Creek community at large, increased opportunities to improve their physical fitness.”
