Did you know that your student can earn college credit while enrolled in a Cobb County School District high school?
The tuition is 100 percent paid!
Mandatory fees are covered and so are the books.
Parents and students are invited to attend the Cobb County School District Dual Enrollment Summit 6:00-8:00 p.m. September 12 at Kennesaw Mountain High School.
Representatives from the five colleges and universities, which host most Cobb dual enrollment students, will be there to discuss program requirements and application procedures. The schools include Chattahoochee Technical College, Georgia Highlands College, Kennesaw State University, Georgia State University, and Georgia Military College.
Cobb Counselors will also be available to answer questions and provide enrollment information.
Last year, Cobb students took about 3,700 dual enrollment courses at 13 different colleges and universities. Classes are held on college campuses, online and even high school campuses, but they are all taught by college professors.
Thanks to Cobb’s dual enrollment program, students can “Move on When Ready.” Attend the summit to learn more.
