Osborne High School Wins 2019 School of the Year Environmental Stewardship Award

For the past two years, Osborne High School science teachers Heather Glazebrook and Rachel Sheldon have been working with their students on restoration projects and creek cleanups to better the local community.

As a result of the students’ hard work, dedication, and positive impact on the community, Osborne High School won the 2019 School of the Year Environmental Stewardship Award from Cobb County.

Environmental science, AP biology and Science Olympiad students have been working at Tramore Park to keep their community beautiful. The school officially adopted Tramore Park.

Last year, Cobb County Water System’s Watershed Stewardship Program recognized Tritt Elementary School students for their years of work cleaning up local waterways.
