Cobb Schools Communications Department Wins National, International Awards

The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals recently announced the winners of their 2019 international awards competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media. Four of the awards went to members of the Cobb County School District Communications Department, including one platinum and three gold awards. The Cobb Schools blog also won an honorable mention.

The Hermes awards competition recognizes outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals.

Corporate and government marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers submitted thousands of entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and countries around the world.

Members of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals serve as judges. They look for companies, individuals, and organizations, like the Cobb County School District, whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for their industry.

In addition to the Hermes awards, the National School Public Relations Society of America also recognized the Cobb Schools Communication Department with three awards and an honorable mention.

NSPRA’s Publications and Digital Media Awards recognize outstanding education publications and marketing and informational materials (print and electronic), video/TV/radio programs, social media, and websites.
