Cobb Schools Board Member Q&A: Dr. Jaha Howard, Post 2

Question: How long have you been on the school board? 

Answer: I have been on the school board for 7 months.” 

Question: How long have you lived in Cobb County? 

Answer: “I have lived in Cobb County for 10 years.” 

Question: Superintendent Ragsdale often says  Cobb is the best place to teach, lead, and learn. What  impresses you the most about  our team?  

Answer: “Our teachers’ high level of professionalism in education and compassion for our students impresses me the most.” 

Question: What are you looking forward to in the 2019-2020 school year?  

Answer: “I am looking forward to challenging ourselves as a district to intentionally strive for excellence in every area of education.”  

Question: What was your favorite memory from the 2018-2019 school year?  

Answer: “Commencement week was unforgettable! It was an honor to be a part of sending out graduates out into the world, prepared to be game-changers in society.”
