Although schools are closed, those in need in the community still need help. Thankfully, we live in a very generous and supportive community. Many organizations from across the county have already set up ways to help those who may be struggling during this unprecedented time.
We continue to hear from individuals in the community who are looking for ways to support their neighbors in need. So, we have compiled a list of some of the organizations coordinating efforts to feed our students and their families, as well as, provide other resources.

MUST Ministries Donations and Volunteers Needed: Cobb Schools is partnering with MUST Ministries to feed those in need while schools are closed. To find out how you can help, visit: MUST Ministries.
Volunteer at Cobb Schools and MUST Food Pantries: Help distribute food at 29 Cobb Schools pantries that will provide food boxes to families in need. Here’s How to Sign Up to Volunteer.
South Cobb Council of PTA Donations and Volunteers Needed: The South Cobb community is rallying to feed those in need and the South Cobb Council of PTA has already set up two locations to provide lunch to students and are coordinating with other organizations to add additional satellite locations. Piedmont Church Food Drive:
Drop-Off Location: Piedmont Church, 570 Piedmont Road, Marietta, GA 30066 (Drop off behind the church under the large covered entrance to the main hall)
When: Drop Off Time is on Tuesdays 3 p.m. -7 p.m.
Need: Snacks, pasta, cereal, bread, peanut butter, jelly, rice, canned vegetables, oatmeal, spaghetti sauce, water (No expired food)
Cobb Schools Foundation: Throughout the school year, the Cobb Schools Foundation helps Cobb students succeed through scholarships, Teacher Impact Grants, after school scholarships and much more.
