Question: Why are you excited about joining the Floyd Middle School community?
Answer: “I worked closely with the Floyd Community during my years at South Cobb High school. Some of my favorite students came from Floyd Middle school because the Floyd students who came to South Cobb High school were always prepared for high school. As the new principal at Floyd Middle School, the community can expect a leader willingly to serve the community, the staff, and students of Floyd. I plan to roll up my sleeves to do the necessary work to remove obstacles, provide resources, and motivation to help students achieve success.”
Question: What does student success look like for you?
Answer: “Student success is not defined by a test score. Success happens when students choose to take a positive and active role in their education, academic trajectory, career plans, and social interactions.”
Question: What do you like most about being an educator/principal?
Answer: “As a principal, I enjoy bringing people together to focus on the betterment of children. That includes all of the hard work, joy, sweat, tears, and laughter, which come with being an educator.”
