Question: Why are you excited about joining the Keheley Elementary School community?
Answer: “As the proud principal of Keheley Elementary, I am excited about joining the close-knit Keheley team. It is evident that the administration, teachers, and community have established high expectations that foster rigorous and relevant learning.
What impresses me most about Keheley is the passion, dedication, and expertise of the staff. The teacher retention rate is remarkable. It is clear that once teachers join the Keheley staff, many remain for their entire professional career, which speaks volumes to the positive culture the school and community have developed.
I look forward to working alongside the Keheley staff to pursue the school’s mission and vision.”
Question: What does student success look like for you?
Answer: “The saying ‘It takes a village’ is quite accurate. All members within a school’s community work as a collaborative team to develop the whole child. I look forward to collaborating with the Keheley teachers and to plan high-impact and engaging lessons for our students.”
Question: What do you like most about being a principal?
Answer: “What I value most about being a principal is building sustainable relationships with teachers, students, and families. My passion is to inspire, instruct, and influence others to be their best. Being a principal provides me the opportunity to see students every day and expose them to the joys of learning.
There is nothing more invigorating or humbling than to impact a student’s life in a positive way, and I have had that golden opportunity, as I have spent nearly 30 years in the field of education.”
Question: Outside school, where might students, parents or staff members run into you?
Answer: Outside of school, I may be found in and around Roswell, especially the parks, where my husband and I enjoy nature, walking, and quality time together.
