Musical theater productions by the Pebblebrook High School Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts and the Walton High School theatre program have earned nominations for the 2012 Shuler Hensley Awards, the official Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards!

The Shuler Hensley Awards is an annual showcase and celebration for high school theater education programs, fashioned after Broadway’s Tony Awards. This year’s ceremony takes place Tuesday, April 17 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, beginning with the red carpet rollout at 6 p.m. and showtime starting at 7:30 p.m. The awards will air on ME-TV, WSB-TV’s digital channel and can be viewed on Channel 248 on Comcast and 127 on Charter.
