Sara Dada, a junior at Wheeler High School’s Center for Advanced Studies, was selected as the first place winner for the Cobb EMC Washington Youth Tour and scholarship and was honored at the Cobb EMC Annual Task Force dinner on April 12.

The Washington Youth Tour is an all-expenses-paid week-long trip to Washington D.C. Three winners are selected for the trip and receive scholarships of $1500, $1000, and $500. The winners selected have the opportunity to meet their elected representatives, learn about how the U.S. government works and gain valuable skills.
