Floyd Middle School Battles Bullying With Monthly ‘Pink Day’

In late October, Floyd Middle School began a new tradition to help battle bullying. Every month, the school will have ‘Pink Day,’ where students wear their brightest pink apparel to raise awareness of the importance of not bullying. Floyd was inspired by the story of students in Nova Scotia who dressed in pink after a boy was harassed for wearing a pink polo shirt.

It’s a great example of students and faculty working together to create a harmonious school environment.
