Georgia Tech Recognizes Readers at Lovinggood Middle School


On February 3, sixth grade students from Lovinggood Middle were recognized during halftime at the the Georgia Tech vs. Florida State Women’s Basketball game.   The students were honored for their in the annual Jacket 2 Jacket Reading Incentive Program, which encourages children to read and learn over the winter break. Out of more than 500 participants from schools within the Metro Atlanta area, Lovinggood Middle School came in first in each of the following categories:

Highest School Total: 121, 526 pages read
Highest Class Total: Mrs. Frisch 3rd period with 27,765 pages
Highest Individual Total: Hannah Blumsack with 22,005 pages.
