Kincaid Elementary celebrated its participation in the 4 Quarters 4 Research cancer research fundraiser with a pep rally on March 6. The television show NASCAR Angels was on hand to film the event and help with a bubblegum bubble blowing contest!
Kincaid principal Cheryl Maudlin presented a check for $3,244.29 to representatives of the Rally Foundation, which raises funds for children’s cancer research. The Rally Foundation is based locally, in Roswell.
NASCAR Angels host Shannon Wiseman spent time chatting with students and getting the crowd pumped up about their contribution to the Rally Foundation. NASCAR Angels is a nationally-syndicated show where deserving community members receive auto repairs from Gemini Automotive. A representative from the Rally Foundation is being featured on an upcoming episode, in which Kincaid’s efforts will also be highlighted.
The bubble blowing contest got Kincaid students and staff members excited about blowing bubbles more than seven inches wide!
