Pebblebrook High Student Offers ‘Karing Hands’ to Homeless

Kandi Hudson (front row, far right) and her organization Karing Hands help feed the homeless in the community.

Kandi Hudson is a 10th grader at Pebblebrook High School.  Hudson spearheaded an organization called “Karing Hands,” which feeds the homeless. Kandi’s future goal is to assist families who have difficulty purchasing school uniforms in our community schools.

This year, Karing Hands has fed the homeless every other weekend, knitted scarves, sponsored the polo shirts the girls wear on game day and purchased basketball gear for two players who did not have the money to do so.  Hudson reached out to the owner of C4 Belts and asked them to sponsor the girls by supplying C4 Belts, which the girls wear on game day as well.  Karing Hands purchased a banner to go in the gym on behalf of C4 Belts.

This holiday season, Karing Hands is giving out scarves, jackets, blankets and feeding the homeless.
