Wheeler High School will be hosting their 3rd annual STEAM Symposium on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Wheeler High School. The community is invited to join in the celebration of inquiry, hard work, and innovation. The Wheeler STEAM Symposium provides a forum for students to share their research, projects, talent, and enthusiasm for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.
Several Cobb County elementary schools will take part by displaying their projects along with Wheeler High School students. Last year’s Symposium included collaborative projects from more than 250 elementary, middle, and high school students, displaying diversity of subject content and collaborative efforts across age levels and abilities. The students showcased what they had learned and researched through the project-based experience in and out of the classroom setting. In all, more than 1000 visitors and guests came to Wheeler to experience the synergy in the classrooms, corridors, and hallways.
