The Osborne HS Tax Center has been operating since 2011 and is one of two volunteer tax preparation sites in the state hosted by a high school. Osborne Business Education and coordinating teacher, Michael Devault, oversees all aspects of operations. Devault says “Since it started, Osborne students have prepared over 800 tax returns, yielding returns of over $600, 000 and saving taxpayers thousands in preparation fees.”
